The voices behind the African Children's Choir are now the stars of a brand new independent documentary called " imba means sing." The filmmakers had no problem finding the story; finding the funding is the difficult part.
Making a film requires a lot of money, so the filmmakers took a less traditional route and turned to Indiegogo to raise the more than $15,000 they still need to complete the project. Indiegogois a popular crowdfunding website used to raise money for various charitable causes.
So far the group has raised about $13,000, which means they have $17,000 to go and they need your help! We wanted to know more about the film and why its mission is so important to the creators. So we asked producer Erin Levin to stop by Making it in America and share her story with us!
