Battle of the sexes: When women beat men

NEED TO KNOW
  • Pam Reed was the first woman to become the overall winner of the Badwater Ultramarathon
  • She also became the first person to complete a 300-mile run without sleep

Billie Jean King, Julie Krone, Kelly Kulick-- legendary athletes and women who have come out on top against their male competitors against all odds.

Pam Reed is an ultramarathon runner who knows a thing or two about busting up the boys' club in her sport.
