Jodi Arias claims she killed her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander in self-defense, even though she had given authorities other stories about how he died in the past.
She said during direct examination last week that she can’t remember much about the day Alexander died, including the moments where she stabbed him 29 times.
Prosecutor Juan Martinez though continues to question Arias’ claims that she couldn’t remember the specifics about the brutal slaying.
On Tuesday night, HLN’s Dr. Drew took a few moments to talk to courtroom spectators for their take on the day’s events.
“I can talk to my five-year-old easier than one can communicate with Jodi,” expressed Stacey Fairrington. “I was amazed with the patience he has with her on the stand."
Dr. Drew “juror” Katie Wick added, “I think it's ridiculous that Jodi thinks she can one-up the prosecutor. I think it's playing really bad on her part because time feels a lot longer in that courtroom than it does on TV.”
Dr. Drew On Call airs Monday through Wednesday on HLN at 9 p.m. ET. Follow the show on Facebook and Twitter @DrDrewHLN.
