Dr. Drew

Driven by current events, "Dr. Drew" on HLN focuses on the human - and human behavior - at the center of the story.

Man who drove Arias to police describes her demeanor

  • Jod Arias has completed her sixth day of testimony in her murder trial
  • Arias is accused of killing her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander, in Arizona; she says she killed him in self-defense

Jodi Arias has accused ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander of a number of things since she has taken the stand, including physical assault and bullying her at times.

Arias and her attorneys claim though she ultimately killed Alexander in self-defense, even though she had given authorities other stories about his death in the past.

After Alexander’s body was found in June of 2008 at his Mesa, Arizona home, Arias told police she was not involved in his killing. She later told investigators that she witnessed two intruders break in and kill him. Eventually, Arias said she killed Alexander in self-defense.

On Wednesday night, HLN’s Dr. Drew talked to Alexander's colleague and former roommate Aaron Dewey. He lived in the house where Alexander was killed in the months before his death.

Dewey also knows Jodi Arias. In the video clip above, he describes what it was like the day he drove her to police for questioning concerning the death of her ex-boyfriend.

Dr. Drew On Call airs Monday through Wednesday on HLN at 9 p.m. ET.  Follow the show on Facebook and Twitter @DrDrewHLN.
