A dollar store clerk is accused of spanking a customer's 8-year-old son with her belt.
Police in Wrightsville, Georgia say Logan Ivey was running around the store and got into it with clerk Emilia Bell. Surveillance video apparently shows her hitting the boy at least 25 times.
Ivey tells WMAZ it all started when Bell called him a "demon." He says he retaliated by saying, "I'll show you bad," and throwing a cookie at her. He says Bell found him hiding behind a counter and she allegedly administered some rough justice.
The store gave a statement to HLN affiliate WXIA saying, "The type of behavior described in this incident is unacceptable, and the person responsible is no longer employed by Dollar General."
Bell is now charged with aggravated assault and child cruelty. We have not heard from her.
