Man behind Te'o hoax speaks out

Dr. Phil got the first interview with Ronaiah Tuiasosopo, the man who says he is the mastermind of a hoax perpetrated against Notre Dame football star Manti Te'o. Tuiasosopo fostered a relationship with Te'o posing as a woman online and on the phone.

Tuiasosopo says the Notre Dame star had nothing to do with the hoax and revealed some of the details of the fictitious relationship.

He told Dr. Phil that he "fell deeply and romantically in love" with Manti Te'o during the scam.
