Remember last year's Super Bowl in Indianapolis? Well, if you don't, here's a refresher: packed restaurants and ice cold weather!
But this year, there's an app for that! A wave of new tools have been designed to make visitors' Super Bowl experience in New Orleans this weekend a little better.
Apps create ultimate Super Bowl experience
Last month, dozens of computer programmers descended on the city for 48 hours straight of app programming. And what they came up with was half a dozen new apps for smart phones -- all tailored to the unique New Orleans culture.
Travis Laurendine organized the event. He's a technology and entertainment entrepreneur who founded his own company called Volnado. Travis organized the Codemkrs group specifically with the goal of making New Orleans a more tech-friendly place this weekend!
We caught up with Travis down in New Orleans to get a better idea of what fans can expect from the new apps created to enhance their experience this coming weekend!
