A couple of lows are causing winter weather concerns this morning in the South and Midwest/Mid-Atlantic states.
Things could get interesting for drivers in the South as freezing rain advisories pop up in cities like Atlanta. There are winter weather advisories around the entire region though -- covering northern Georgia and Alabama, almost all of Kentucky and stretching as far north as northwest Pennsylvania. It’s a big concern on the roads for southerners today.
Already several schools are closed and some flights have been canceled in Nashville.
Expect this system to be a quick hitter -- no more than 6 inches of snow in West Virginia or the Virginia mountains. But it will be cold! Wind chill advisories all across the northeast again this morning.
