“The Breast Milk Baby”: Would you buy your daughter one?
There are sensors in the doll’s breast area, which set off a suckling noise at the point of contact.
Although the doll makes other noises, such as crying and burping sounds, it’s the breast feeding effects that are causing quite a stir.
HLN’s Dr. Drew talked a spokesman from the product maker Berjuan Toys Wednesday night.
“Why shouldn't we have these dolls?” Dennis Lewis said. “All dolls should be breast-fed because all little girls should grow up knowing that the best way to feed a baby is by breast-feeding."
He added, “There's nothing sexual about it. There's no reason that there should be any taboo about it. We're not robbing them of their childhood.”
But when Dr. Drew’s guests heard those statements, they had a few thoughts of their own to express.
