It's official: VP Biden takes oath of office

Vice President Joe Biden was officially sworn into his second term of office today, beginning the ceremony with a prayer from Georgetown University's Reverend Kevin O'Brien.

Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor administered the oath of the 47th vice-president--with many of Biden's family members on hand to witness the ceremony.

Weekend Express will also have live coverage of President Obama's swearing in ceremony, scheduled to take place at 11:55 a.m. ET.
