Ryan Burns testified in the Jodi Arias trial this week that he made out with her the day after Travis Alexander was brutally murdered.
Burns told the court about Arias’ trip to see him the day after Alexander died. She was supposed to arrive on June 4, 2008, at noon, but she didn’t show up at Burns' home until a full 24 hours later.
He said the two of them kissed and fooled around, but they didn't take it any further because of their shared Mormon faith. Burns also said that Arias was “feisty,” meaning she was a lot stronger than she looked.
Alexander was killed on June 4, 2008. At her trial, Arias’ attorneys have argued that she killed Alexander in self-defense, alleging that Alexander was an abuser. In early statements to police, Arias said she wasn’t with Alexander when he died. Later, after police matched a bloody handprint at the scene to her, Arias claimed she and Alexander had been attacked in a home invasion and the masked intruders killed him.
