Jodi Arias appeared to hide behind her hair, crying, as grisly photos of the crime scene were shown to jurors Tuesday.
She’s on trial for murder in the death of her former boyfriend Travis Alexander.
Police say Alexander’s body had at least 29 stab wounds, his throat was slit from ear to ear and he’d been shot in the face.
Arias' attorneys argue she killed him in self-defense, even though Arias had given authorities several stories in the past about his death.
Arias, though, couldn't keep her emotions in check as a prosecutor showed horrific crime scene photos to the jurors in court Tuesday.
In the video clip above, one attorney tells HLN’s Dr. Drew that the photos are “highly likely [to] be influential,” to the jury, while another analyst says it’s possible that the jurors will become immune to the photos.
