Travis Alexander died in a brutal attack.

Jodi Arias has admitted to killing her ex-boyfriend, who was found shot in the face, stabbed more than two dozen times and with his throat slit from ear to ear. However, Arias says it was in self-defense after Alexander attacked her.

In Session's Beth Karas says that Arias' defense team was forced to admit guilt after the judge ruled that the jury would be able to hear Arias' police and media interviews. Watch the video to hear Karas talk about Arias' defense strategy and whether blaming the victim will work.  

Arias originally told police she was not involved in the death of Alexander. She later changed her story and told investigators that two intruders broke in and killed him. She eventually admitted to killing Alexander in self-defense.
