HLN welcomes Ty Pennington!

Ty Pennington (star of ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition) has been named host of HLN’s new series American Journey.

American Journey will take a close-up look into the lives of people who don’t fit the "9 to 5" workday mold. Early episodes will feature unusual lifestyles that include occupants of a commune, those of lobster fishermen and the Delta blues culture in America featuring interviews with actor Morgan Freeman and musician Robert Plant.

Welcome aboard Ty!

American Journey premieres Saturday, January 12 only on HLN.
