The nation paid tribute to the victims of the Sandy Hook massacre with a moment of silence today. One week after a tragedy unfolded on the quiet community of Newtown, Conn., Americans nationwide took a moment to remember the 26 victims who lost their lives at the school that day. The nation continues to grieve alongside the family and friends of those lost, and the outpour of support has been amazing.
Americans everywhere are performing random acts of kindness as a way to honor the 20 children and 6 adults who died at Sandy Hook Elementary. The way this nation has come together is inspiring, and hopefully it gives these families at least a moment of comfort.
