Someone's phone is going to start ringing off the hook today. One of the big Powerball lottery winners may come forward.
One of the tickets was sold at a convenience store north of Kansas City, Missouri, and lottery officials there plan to hold a press conference today at noon ET.
The other winning ticket was sold in Fountain Hills, Arizona, but the winner may have turned up in Maryland. People at a store there say a man walked in, scanned his ticket and started shouting, "I won!" The mystery man was caught on surveillance video, but hasn't been heard from since.
Meanwhile, people in California won't have to miss out on the next Powerball drawing. The Golden State added the game to its lottery lineup on Thursday.
