Gun range lets you shoot human targets

NEED TO KNOW
  • Would you have it in you to shoot an intruder?
  • Orlando gun range uses rubber bullets and modified guns in training scenario

A gun range in Orlando lets people shoot each other!

No, not with real bullets, but with the same simulated ammunition used in police and military training.

Matt Austin of HLN affiliate WKMG says in order to shoot you must first be searched to make sure you're not packing other weapons or ammo. Then your gun must be fitted with a restrictor so it cannot fire real rounds. You'll also have to wear protective gear for your head, neck and 'private parts.'  These rounds are not lethal, but they still HURT! Combat City owner Dave Kaplan says that is by design. It adds to the realness.

Employees told Austin their facility tests a person's nerve which helps you know if you have it in you to shoot another person if your life depended on it.

Want to see if you do? A session with live human targets will cost you less than $150.
