Florida Georgia Line cite hip-hop influences

NEED TO KNOW
  • Florida Georgia Line's first single, "Cruise", hit #1 on iTunes Country charts
  • Stars like Taylor Swift & Sugarland have tweeted about their music

You wouldn't expect a country duo to be counting down the days to a concert by hip-hop star Wiz Khalifa.  But that's just what Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line were talking about when they visited Robin Meade at the HLN studios.  Hubbard's also a big fan of Lil Wayne.  But their star is rising fast in the country world.

Florida Georgia Line's first single, "Cruise", hit #1 on the iTunes Country charts.  And stars like Keith Urban, Taylor Swift and Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland have all tweeted they can't stop listening to it.  Hubbard and Kelley are currently playing on tour as one of the opening acts for Jake Owen.  And they just signed on to tour with Luke Bryan in 2013.

So keep an eye out for Florida Georgia Line's debut album, "Here's to the Good Times", which hit stores December 4th.
