Julie DeNeen went through something that would make most people cringe.  She had an intimate affair with her biological father after reuniting with him as an adult.

She calls it genetic sexual attraction. “GSA is an attraction that happens between family members who've been separated for most of their lives and haven't had the chance to bond properly,” DeNeen explains.

She told HLN’s Dr. Drew Monday night, “I became addicted to the feeling of approval that I got in affection from him when I did turn on this sexual part of me … [but] I remember saying to my husband -- my therapist -- I said I felt like the only way out was death because I didn't know how I was going to be able to get myself free from this.”
