A mission to return lost military medals

NEED TO KNOW
  • Army Captain Zachariah Fike searches for military medals
  • His goal is to return as many as he can to the recipient or their families

Captain Zachariah Fike knows how to go above and beyond the call of duty. However, his most notable mission has occurred far from the front lines. The Vermont Army National Guard captain finds lost military Purple Heart medals and returns them to the rightful owners.

Zac knows the significance of a Purple Heart - he earned his own when he was wounded in Afghanistan.

Through his efforts, Captain Zachariah Fike hopes to salute the memory of this nation's brave soldiers and restore a vital part of their military legacy.

For more on Captain Fike's mission to reunite servicemen and women and their families with their lost medals visit his facebook page: Purple Hearts Reunited.
