Patty Hunter and her family were bereft when their dog Nina ran away during the squalls of Superstorm Sandy. The family, originally from Maryland, was taking shelter in Virginia when Nina got spooked and vanished from the house. It is a nightmare thousands of pet owners are facing in the aftermath of the storm, but for the Hunters, their ordeal had a happy ending.
Patty talked to Jane Velez Mitchell about being reunited with her beloved pet, and the key device she says saved Nina's life.
