Is another storm coming?

  • Cold temps and strong winds coming for people in superstorm's impact area

Editor's note: CNN International meteorologist Jennifer Delgado is in studio today for Morning Express with Robin Meade meteorologist Bob Van Dillen who has been on assignment in Hoboken, New Jersey.

A cold snap and a system that could develop into a nor'easter have sights set on areas still recovering from Superstorm Sandy

Meteorologist Jennifer Delgado says, "More misery on the way for hurricane Sandy storm victims. Temperatures will run 5-10 degrees below average this weekend in the northeast. Overnight lows will fall into the 30’s near the freezing mark with highs only in the mid to upper 40’s. The weekend will be dry which is good news for the clean up effort.

The weather gets more interesting next week as an area of low pressure develops in the southeast. This could bring rain to Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina on election day. Low pressure will develop in the south before moving up the northeast and Mid-Atlantic region.  This could develop into a nor'easter, binging heavy rain to the northeast on Wednesday."
