It could be the future of athletic training. A high-tech glove that rapidly changes the body's core temperature by cooling or heating the blood at the palm of the hand is being heralded as a game changer.
Researchers at Stanford University have been working on the glove for more than 18 years. Researchers found that the cooling effect on athletes wearing the glove reversed the feeling of fatigue during training, leaving athletes feeling brand-new again.
After six months of test training, one athlete noticed effects that were double what one would see from steroids.
