How many hats can Nancy Grace wear? Expert of Shakespearean literature, Felony Prosecutor, Victims Rights Advocate, HLN anchor, “Dancing with the Stars” contestant, Comedy Guest-Star, Author, Wife, and Mother. And now you can add Movie Executive to Ms. Grace’s title. On November 3, Lifetime Movie Network is set to premier an adaptation of Grace’s New York Times bestselling novel, “The Eleventh Victim”.
The thriller is loosely inspired on Grace’s former career as a felony prosecutor in Atlanta, GA. Grace herself also makes an appearance in the film. The movie is also a star-studded affair-Jennie Garth (Beverly Hills 90210) plays the main character, Hailey Dean, a formidable Assistant District Attorney who goes head-to-head with some of Atlanta’s most viscous felons. Also starring in the thriller is Metta World Peace who Grace knows from her dancing days. She said, “Jennie Garth is perfect for the role, as is Metta World Peace. We became great friends during Dancing with the Stars, and that enthusiasm definitely translates to the screen.”
When asked how she found time to Executive Produce the movie Nancy responded, “Compared to the ten years that it took me to write the book… it was a piece of cake!” And as her motivation has been for the majority of the professional decisions in her life, the MO for her latest project? The hunt for justice.
If her performance and surprising success on Dancing with the Stars is any indication, with each new hat Grace wears, the next one always looks just as good, if not better.
“The Eleventh Victim” premieres this Saturday night, November 3 at 8PM EST only on Lifetime.
