What happens when a pastor, living a double life, reveals his addiction to porn and prostitutes to his unsuspecting young wife?  Was his secret sex addiction so well hidden she missed the signs?

Michael Cusick, author of "Surfing for God", says his wife finally caught him in a lie one night when he couldn’t explain his whereabouts. That evening, he says he poured out his secret life. His wife Julianne was devastated, feeling betrayed and confused.

“I would go to adult bookstores and video arcades where one would hope to encounter physical relationships,” he explained to HLN’s Dr. Drew Thursday night. “I would go to strip clubs and massage parlors. It ultimately took me to both high-priced escort services and the alleys and back roads seeking prostitutes.”

He added, “One of the things about the addiction is I became more and more deceptive … I really became very out of control.”

But today, he counsels men with pornography and sex addictions after getting help for his own troubles. He is still married to his wife Julianne and they say they are in a good place. They live with their two children, in Littleton, Colorado.
