U.S. Army Sgt. Davin Dumar lost his left leg and suffered several other injuries during a deployment to Afghanistan last year.
His injuries may have slowed him down a bit, but they've only strengthened his determination to move forward. With the help of his doctors and his wife Dana he's doing just that.
The Dumars recently got a life-changing surprise which will help them start the next phase of their life together. HLN was there for the big moment.
