Americans killed in Libya attack identified

  • Mother, sister remember men killed in attack on U.S. consulate in Libya

We’ve now confirmed the identities of two former Navy SEALS and an Air Force veteran who were killed along with the U.S. ambassador to Libya on Tuesday.

Air Force veteran Sean Smith loved playing video games online. His gaming friends have created a memorial Facebook page in his honor.

Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty were former SEALS working security on the day of the attack.

"I’m sure my son went down fighting," says Woods' mom by phone. "He was the guy you would want to have in your corner if you were in a tight situation."  Woods has three sons -- one is just a few months old.

From behind dark glasses, Doherty's sister told the press, "Glen lived his life to the fullest.  We grieve for our friend, our brother…our son and our American hero."
