New royal scandal: Kate Middleton snapped topless

Ouch. Poor Kate.

It seems a French magazine has published a series of blurry paparazzi shots of the Duchess sunbathing, naked from the waist up.

According to royal sources, the pictures, which depict Kate taking in the sun in the company of Prince William while on vacation at a private house, have greatly upset the Duchess and the royal family is considering legal action.

The photos come out just as the royals were trying to move on from Prince Harry's infamously naked night in Las Vegas.

The pics were published in the French magazine Closer under the title "Oh My God!"

"Harry started the fashion: these days, the Windsors take their clothes off," the article reads.

However, as Robin points out above, sunbathing topless in Europe isn't really that big of a deal. When you're royalty, however, the deal gets a little bigger.
