Many moms have been very critical of New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg's “Latch On, NYC” initiative. They say it locks up baby formula like a drug.

But Kristen Howerton -- a blogger and mother of four -- says some hospitals are pushing formula on new moms and stopping them from breastfeeding altogether.
"It’s easier for nurses to hand out formula than to sit and coach a mom to breastfeed," she tells HLN's Evening Express.
