A would-be robber in Brandon, Mississippi, stopped what he was doing when his mother entered the store, and it was all caught on video. 

Watch the clip from HLN affilliate WLBT and see 22-year-old Roy Mitchell walk into D's 1-Stop convenience store, grab some chips and then pull a gun on the cashier. Suddenly, Mitchell's mother enters the store and grabs the weapon out of his hand.  

Mitchell's mom is seen on video, telling the cashier that the gun is a fake and asks her not to call the cops. The clerk called police, who track down Mitchell and arrest him.  

It turns out the gun was actually plastic after all, but Mitchell will still face charges of attempted armed robbery.
