More than 280 million hens are suffering, confined to cages so small they can't even spread their wings. They are forced to live their entire lives in less than half the size of a sheet of standard sized paper. That's only 67 square inches per hen.
But there is hope. A new bill in Congress called HR 3798 or the Egg Bill aims to double the amount of space for hens.
