HLN’s Dr. Drew talked to Nadya Suleman, who's known for having 14 children, on Monday to discuss, in part, her newly released adult film “Octomom: Home Alone.”
"It has been the most empowering, liberating thing I have ever done,” Suleman said.
Wicked Pictures, the organization that released the film, is the "most professional and respectful company," she stated.
“There is nothing I won't do to take care of my family,” she explained, adding, “I'm not a porn star.”
She continued, “Obviously, I'm going to be lying if I said I didn't want to try to generate some revenue from this. I had no clue what it would end up being -- such a positive experience.”
Dr. Drew’s “Loveline” co-host and relationship expert Simone Bienne had a much different view.
“What happens to make me incredibly sad is having met with so many women who either shut down their sexuality or then act out their sexuality because of some kind of emotional trauma,” she said. “This is incredibly shame-enhancing.”
Suleman responded, “I had full control and power over my choice. I take full accountability and I'm proud of it.”
At the end of the interview though, Dr. Drew told Suleman, “You burn me out … I just have a terrible feeling about the direction you're going. I don't know what's next.”
Suleman claims that “doors have opened” for many other business opportunities as a result of the video.
