Daytime television has not been the same without Susan Lucci as the fabulous Erica Kane on our televisions every afternoon after “All My Children” went off the air in September last year. Tonight Lucci is being honored at the Daytime Emmy Awards with a special tribute to her and her legendary role.

Lucci tells Showbiz Tonight’s A.J Hammer it was the greatest joy going to the “AMC” set every day to play Erica. “Everyday I would just go into work and sing and smile and laugh and know that I was the luckiest actress on the planet.”
