Children fighting cancer share amazing friendship

NEED TO KNOW
  • Bella and Addison were diagnosed with cancer one day apart
  • They call each other 'soul mates'

Break out the tissues, because this story even had Robin choked up a bit.

A little boy and girl diagnosed with cancer a day apart can’t seem to stay away from each other.  Bella Hicks is 5 and Addison Kleinhans is 7. The best friends both have a type of Leukemia that’s common in children. They go with each other to treatments and, well, play like any normal childhood friends do. They even consider themselves soul mates.

Bella will finish her treatments this June, but Addison has another year to go.

When he’s all better, the Make-A-Wish Foundation will send them and their families to a Disney Resort.
