A very tan New Jersey mother is under fire for allegedly putting her six-year-old into a tanning bed.

Patricia Krentcil faces a criminal charge for child endangerment, according to HLN affiliate WCBS. But the 44-year-old Krentcil denies the claim and says her daughter made a mistake.
