Deployed U.S. Army soldiers salute family and community

This is a salute from the 1st Battalion 52nd Aviation Regiment, U.S. Army.

Chief Warrant Officer Joey Ybarra writes:
My platoon and I are out of Ft. Wainwright Alaska and are currently deployed to Afghanistan. We would like to return a salute back to our community and especially our loved ones back home. They are a big part of why we can do what we do. Every soldier here is committed to their duty and are aware of the sacrifices that come with it. Our families are not obligated to these same sacrifices yet they stand by our side with all the love and patience any one person could ever ask for. Knowing we have the support back home from our families makes it easier to accomplish our mission over here. No words can express our gratitude, appreciation and love we have for you. Thank you for being there for us.
