"She loves flash mobs, she always has," says Cameron Amigo about his girlfriend Brooke Aldous. That's why he arranged to have her friends and family surprise her by breaking out into synchronized steps just before he dropped to one knee and asked for her hand in marriage.
They're both soldiers in the Army National Guard... which meant this this flash mob had a pretty strict timetable. Aldous's unit is currently deployed to Afghanistan and she's only home on leave for two weeks. That's where Flash Mob America comes into play. FMA helps people organize and pull off surprises, like this one for our military couple at the Velvet Dog in Cleveland, the bar where they first met. Amigo contacted FMA and with the help of his friends and family they were able to make his girlfriend's dream of seeing a group of people "spontaneously" break into dance come true.
Was she surprised? Yes! Would she be even MORE surprised? Yes!! When the dancing stopped, Amigo dropped to one knee to ask if she would marry him. And she said... Yes.
HLN affiliate WKYC reports there is no date for the wedding just yet. But when it does happen, we imagine it might look something like this:
