Takei and Baldwin debate gay marriage

Former “Growing Pains” actor and born-again Christian Kirk Cameron ignited a debate when he told CNN’s Piers Morgan he does not support gay marriage. Cameron gave Morgan his thoughts on homosexuality, “I think that it's unnatural. I think that it's -- it's detrimental, and ultimately destructive to so many of the foundations of civilization."

Gay rights activist George Takei and born-again Christian Stephen Baldwin debated the issue on HLN’s Showbiz Tonight. Takei said if Christians like Baldwin want respect from the gay community there must be a mutual understanding on both sides. Baldwin thinks that Kirk Cameron words were blown out of proportion.
