Ever wonder why people put their names on their lunches before they stick ‘em in the office fridge?
Here’s why.
Dallas Park Police say a guy in Texas got caught on hidden camera grabbing his buddies’ food. Oh yeah, and he just happens to be a cop. And the fridge he was raiding just happens to be in a police station.
It happened so many times that police decided to stick a camera in the break room and conduct an investigation.
Deer Park Police Chief Greg Griggs told HLN affiliate KTRK, "The conversations in the hallways and briefings and people's frustrations and aggravation with that occurring did not deter the events. In fact, they increased."
After three weeks, the culprit was identified: Deer Park police officer Kevin Yang.
KTRK reports that as of Tuesday, Yang is suspended without pay for 30 days and may even face misdemeanor theft charges.
