They thought they were safe. Georgeanne Baxter took her seven year-old daughter, Brittney, on a little shopping trip to the local Wal-Mart. But when they were separated for just a few seconds, a man swooped in and grabbed Brittney!
The second grader didn’t go without a fight. She managed to escape her captor, all in view of surveillance cameras, which recorded the entire event. HLN’s Jane Velez-Mitchell spoke exclusively to the young hero and found out how she fought her way free, and how she knew exactly what to do in such a terrifying situation.
