  • Vanessa Williams said she would 'absolutely' be on board for a 'Desperate Housewives' movie
  • Williams has starred on 'Desperate Housewives' for the last two seasons
  • 'Desperate Housewives' to come to an end after eight seasons

“Desperate Housewives” star Vanessa Williams is dishing some serious dirt on the future of the series!

Sadly, the hit ABC series is coming to end after eight seasons, but there could more drama in store for the ladies of Wisteria Lane. Series creator Marc Cherry says he is happy with how the series unfolded and has no plans for a movie.
But what if the diehard fans want more?  Could a Facebook or Twitter campaign bring the ladies to the big screen? Williams tells HLN's Showbiz Tonight she would sign on!
"I would absolutely be on board if there were a movie," says Williams. "Unless [Marc Cherry] says yes it's not going to happen."
Tune into "Showbiz Tonight" on HLN at 11 p.m. ET/PT to hear more of Vanessa Williams' "Desperate Housewives" finale dish.
