And this round goes to ... George Clooney!

This year's awards season has been all about the showdown between fellow actors and good buddies George Clooney and Brad Pitt. The playful jabs and jokes continued on Monday at this year’s Oscar Luncheon.

Brad and George have been pitted against each other in the Best Actor category -- Pitt for his lead role in “Moneyball” and Clooney for his lead role in “The Descendants.” When George sat down alongside “The Descendants” director Alexander Payne to talk with Showbiz Tonight’s Kareen Wynter, he revealed the one thing that would surprise people about Brad Pitt.

“I don’t think people know this, but they should. Brad’s like 5’2,” joked Clooney. “He’s wearing huge heels. He’s much, much smaller in real life.”

All joking aside though, George did go on to praise his friend and the work he’s done in this year’s nominated films “Moneyball” and “The Tree of Life.” Clooney tells Showbiz Tonight, “He’s so good in two movies this year. He’s done a really good job.”

While Clooney may have gotten the latest jab in, we have a feeling this won’t be the last the two have to say each other before the biggest showdown of all -- seeing which one walks away the Oscar on February 26.
