"Morning Express with Robin Meade" viewer Erin wrote in asking for help with her problem pimples.. so we took her question to skin care expert, dermatologist Dr. Nicholas Perricone who says nutrition may be the key to combating adult acne.

He says acne in adults is caused by inflammation of the cells surrounding follicles which causes "the oil build up, secondary infection, and then you get acne." 

Dr. Perricone's advice? The best way to fight that inflammation is diet. Try eating lots of anti-inflammatory foods like fruits, vegetables and fruits.
