On Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell, Jane spoke with Joel Brodsky, an attorney for ex-cop Illinois Drew Peterson about the Lifetime movie starring Rob Lowe as the accused killer. Brodsky watched the movie with Drew Peterson, who is in prison awaiting trial for allegedly killing his third wife. Peterson's third wife Stacy remains missing without a clue.
Brodsky says Peterson found the movie based on his story "hysterical" because of what he called inaccuracies.
The movie set record ratings for Lifetime with almost six million people tuning in, and it will re-air again this weekend. Now, Brodsky, and the rest of Peterson's defense team say they're not too worried the movie might hurt their client's chances of receiving a fair trial. Brodsky tells Jane, "Anybody who thinks a Lifetime movie is an accurate portrayal of the facts shouldn't be on a jury in the first place."
