Kirsten Dunst is all about weddings. She’s starring in the comedy “Bachelorette," premiering at the Sundance Film Festival, and she says she’s about to be a maid of honor in real life. And promoting their new movie has Dunst, her co-star Lizzie Caplan and director Leslye Headland a little pre-occupied with marriages.
When word broke at the festival that Heidi Klum and Seal were calling it quits after seven years, their “Bachelorette” film talk turned into one giant discussion of what went wrong with one of Hollywood’s most admired couples. Dunst said, “I feel like we’re on ‘The View’ and this is our topic of the day, you know what I mean?”
“All my friends were like devastated. I mean that’s sad because people feel like they are personally invested in it”, added Headland. And Dunst admits she felt blindsided by the couple she thought she knew so well through her beloved tabloid magazines. “Because they renew their vows every year too. It’s like and they throw their Halloween party, you feel like you are part of their crew," she said.
