Since her acquittal, we've heard Casey Anthony talk about her body piercings and her dog. But is she getting ready to give a tell-all interview? One man is hoping a six-figure offer will convince Casey to sit down with him to tell her side of the story.
Nik Richie, the founder of the website The Dirty, tells HLN’s Showbiz Tonight he is offering Casey $350,000 for a tell-all about being accused and acquitted on charges she killed her daughter Caylee.
Richie says the offer hasn’t made him a lot of friends, and admits to getting multiple threats. Some people, he says, are calling the money he is offering “blood money.” So, why is he doing it? “This is an interview the whole world wants to see. Her life right now is out in the world, but she is still in prison and people want to know her thoughts," he says.
Downplaying that this is some sort of publicity stunt, Richie thinks he is the perfect person to interview Casey because he doesn’t cause a threat to her.
“In my radio show I try to crack my guests and try to get into their minds,” says Richie. “You know I’m not a suit. I’m not a Nancy Grace. I’m not someone she can look at and be in fear of.”
Tune into HLN's Showbiz Tonight at 11 p.m ET/PT to see the full interview with Nik Richie.
