Barbie dolls have long been a subject of misplaced aspirations. But beyond the impossible figure and doe eyes, for little girls with cancer, Barbie has something even more important that they don't: Hair.
A new online petition has cropped up on Facebook asking Mattel to make a bald Barbie to remind girls that you don't have to have hair to be gorgeous. "Beautiful and Bald Barbie!" the page proclaims. "Let's see if we can get it made."
So far, Mattel has not responded to the requests, but the page has over 15,000 "Likes" and counting.
