Balloon Boy’s dad is back, and this time he’s a superhero! Speaking to HLN’s Vinnie Politan on Prime News, Heene says he created the character “Aluminum Man” and an online song for the, “hard-working guy in America who needs a break.”

In October 2009, Heene said his son was trapped in a giant balloon craft. Folks watched it float away on live TV, worried about the “Balloon Boy” inside. It turned out it was all a hoax.
Heene tells Politan that “Balloon Boy” Falcon is doing just fine. He also says he supports his family by working as a general contractor -- in addition to moonlighting as a superhero.
