The case against Conrad Murray

The involuntary manslaughter trial against Conrad Murray officially is underway. Prosecutors are trying to prove that the doctor’s recklessness in using the surgical anesthetic propofol as a sleeping aid led to Michael Jackson’s June 2009 death.

As the state carefully lays out its case to jurors, Murray faces a possible four-year sentence in a California prison and the loss of his medical license.

Will their opening arguments lay the groundwork for a Conrad Murray conviction? Watch and offer your take.
