McDonald's has revamped its beloved (sorta) icon of 51 years.
The big red shoes will stay the same, but Ronald McDonald now has cropped cargo pants and a vest (along with a blazer and bowtie for "special occasions").
The company said the new look, which was designed by Tony Award winner Ann Hould-Ward, is part of a new brand strategy. Ronald is going to start taking an "active role on McDonald's social media channels," according to the company.
"Selfies... here I come!" says the mascot.
Here's what you have to say about his new look (with the general consensus being that clowns are creepy no matter what outfit you put them in):
I didn't think it was possible, but McDonald's successfully made Ronald McDonald even creepier. Good job, guys.

It's supposed to be "less creepy" but Ronald McDonald is just as scary as before if you ask us ! pic.twitter.com/QP9vgJy3CZ

Not everyone is creeped out by the wardrobe change. There's at least this one lady who appreciates it!
#LovinIt Ronald McDonald's look will be as classic as he is & it was time for a change. In 5 years, it'll be time for another update!
